Nat the Hammer is the solo project of Nathan Loughran, lead singer of The Reverse. Stripped down to nothing more than a guitar and a voice, Nat the Hammer’s songs have been likened to Leonard Cohen or the lo-fi anti-folk of Jeffrey Lewis. Nat runs, hosts the “Under the Influence” live night and podcast.

He has released two albums and four EPs with The Reverse, most recently “Which Way Out” and “If The World Ends Now” on Blang Records.

He is going to release an album of solo material in July 2022 through the lo-fi cassette label Kylie Productions.

Over the last six months (2021-2022) Nat has performed solo supporting The Wave Pictures, David Cronenberg’s Wife at the Blang Records 16th anniversary showcase and as a guest of Emmy the Great’s as part of her sold out gig at St Mathias Church in Stoke Newington.
